A whole region terrain editor for Second Life.
Check on some screen shots.
If you own a private island in Second Life, you can download a region's terrain as a file. Backhoe reads those files and gives you the tools to terra-form the entire region at once. Later, you can upload the edited file back to Second Life and your whole region will be changed.
It's free. Just download from the links at left. Also, it's open source. You can get the source code and recompile it if you want.
A Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
The application includes help, though admittedly paltry at this point. You can read it on-line: Backhoe Help.
