Giving Authority

There may be times when you wish to grant another avatar the authority over some or all of your Second Life assets. This can be done by placing the assets in a group, and making the other avatar an officer of that group. It is a good idea to sign and notarize a document outlining the arrangement. Such a signed agreement lets others know with assurance that when your friend says they are authorized to deal on your behalf, that you did indeed authorize it.

**** Avatar Power of Attorney

During the period November 1st, 2005 through March 15th, 2006, I, Timeless Traveler, will be traveling by hot air balloon around the RL world and hence will not have access to Second Life.

I hereby appoint Ulysses S. Useful to manage my affairs in Second Life during this period. This signed and notarized document shall serve as proof to others that any actions by U.S. Useful that involve my Second Life home and business are valid and that I agree to be bound by such actions.

____ Traveler, Timeless
____ Useful, Ulysses S.
