Group Statements
Groups are formed to achieve a common goal that would be hard or impossible to achieve on one's own. A group can make use of signed and notarized documents in several ways:
An oath ensures that each member of the group agrees to what is expected of them. Each member signs a copy of the oath.

We represent the Lollipop Guild, the Lollipop Guild, the Lollipop Guild. We must remember that at all times, as a member, we represent the Lollipop Guild.

And in the name of the Lollipop Guild, we wish to welcome you to Second Life. And so, each of us will endeavor to greet, receive, embrace and usher in everyone we meet to our glorious land.

Carrying lollipops is mandatory. Lollipops must be of the sort approved by the guild, and must be freely copyable and transferrable (though not necessarily modifiable).

By signing this document, each member of the Lollipop Guild swears his allegiance to the guild, and that they will uphold these articles.
A group can also use a document to outline what the group does and what an officer pledges to do with donated funds and land.
**** Pledge of Charity Fund
The Fund for Window-Boxes is a Second Life non-profit cultural group. This statement is to make clear what the aims of the group are, and what the fund manager, Lily Claypot has agreed to do with donated funds.
The Fund for Window-Boxes aims to beautify and otherwise lift the spirits of Second Life, by funding flower builds as follows:
[] The fund is primarily for the purchase of potted flowers. Additional greenery and construction (such as decks or stands) can also be funded if they enhance the display of flowers.
[] Locations should be in high traffic areas, whether on private or public land. Visibility to the public is the highest concern.
[] No single floral designer should be favored by the fund. Individual projects may use a single designer.
[] Permanent builds will have the highest priority of the fund. Flowers for events lasting at least 24 hours, and deemed to have high traffic may also be funded.
Funds donated to the group will be used entirely to fund builds. The fund manager and other group members work strictly on a volunteer basis.
Donations will be acknowledged quarterly in the funds' general information notecard.
