Lease
When you rent land, having a signed agreement in place ensures that the expectations of the tenant and landlord are in agreement. It can spell out the terms of the lease, build restrictions and who is responsible for maintenance if the pipes break.
**** Land Lease
This lease is an agreement between Renter and LandLord for the leased use of land.
The land leased is the 2048m2 lot at PeachyKeen 32,128, which is owned by LandLord.
Renter shall pay L$750/week for use of the land. The initial term is for a minimum of 12 weeks. After that, Renter will continue week-to-week. After the initial term, either party may cancel the lease with two full weeks notice.
Renter can use the land for any purpose they desire so long as it meets with these requirements:
- No building between 20m above ground level and 250m absolute
- At least 50% of the grounds must remain green
- No building within 8m of the North, West or South edges of the lot
- Only minor terra-forming
- Objects must use ecologically aware scripting, and not induce lag
LandLord will set the land to a group of the Renter's choosing, and so the renter will have full controls over the land. And features that Renter can't set due to permissions, LandLord will set on Renter's behalf.
Both parties agree that should a dispute concerning this matter arise, we will enter into mediation using the services and procedures of the SL Mediators group.
